My Firth Surgery...

It has now been about 6 hours since I got my wisdom teeth out. I went to GP, and was scared out of my mind. I have the best friends, who shared with me the their horror stories of their surgerys. So I went in and sat in the most comfortable dentist chair ever. The nurse talked to me, and asked me questions. The anaesthetician(?) came in and gave me IV, and told me to have a good sleep. I then shut my eyes.....then I woke up. I woke up tangled in my IV, with a heart rate clamp on my finger. I looked over at the girl beside me, and I was like..."Haha...she has strings hanging out of her mouth, and blood all over her face..haha." Then I looked in the mirror! So currently, I feel normal, except for the fact that I cannot feel my mouth and I talk with a stupid lisp. Tho, if I was talking to you, thith is how I would thound. They also put a tube in my nose and down my throat, which they so kindley scraped up, so it hurts to swallow. All in all, it was much more painless than I thought!! I didn't even feel the least bit droopy! I also love the blood that is always in my mouth...also the drooling! I haven't actually eaten since last night at 9..I have had juice, but most of it went all down the front of me because I can't feel my face! I will for sure keep you posted about the oozing...the swelling...and all the other wonderful side effects!!

Hahaha....
I loved your email saying, "it was nice knowing you, I hope to see you on the other side if I don't make it through, you can have my stuff if you want any of it..."
lol. Even though I'm sad I don't get your Honey DVD I'm glad you made it through. Hahaha.. I still remember my own waking up and looking at the guy and girl next to me, thinking that they looked like hell. And then realizing I was one of them. But I also remember that it was one of the best sleeps I ever had, I felt so well rested afterwards, and I had the greatest dreams. Anyways, I think the trick is banana and chocolate and strawberry smoothies. Made with lots of ice. Mmmm. Okay, good luck and take care!

aw, wisdom teeth. one of my memories of it was accually waiting in the office. they had a bathroom with the sink in the corner, so they had 2 mirrors meeting in the corner. not that weird, but this caused a cool optical effect. your image was always in the corner no matter where you stood. also if you raised your right arm, the reflection raised its right arm (in a flat mirror, you raise your right, it raises its left). so rather than being a true reflection it was a true image. it was kinda cool seeing the oposite arm raise and stuff. good times

Don't ask me why, but I never got my wisdom teeth taken out, and I'll be 19 next month. I also never got the braces I was supposed to get when I was 12, and I had a spacer in my mouth for about 6 months longer than I was supposed to. Luckily since moving I got a better dentist.
