Dreams...

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging...very exciting!
Being in Grade 11 and quickly approaching high school graduation, I'm faced with the incredibly difficult question of "What do I want to do?"!!! My dream would be to go to the states and attend college there...maybe Gonzaga!! I look at my families financial situation, as well as my own, and I realize that there is no chance of my being able to afford it. I had a chat with a friend, and he told me that I should follow my dreams, and it shouldn't matter how much it costs, as long as I'm happy when I'm done. So, I've decided that I'm going to follow my dream of going to the States for college, and I'm not going to let anyone hinder it. Now all I need is to figure out what I want to take! Like I said in my previous post, I think its very important that no one tell you what to do...I mean decide who you are for you. I really hope that you are all following your dreams and goals, and that you are happy with what you have done!!

Well I believe this friend of yours is very wise is encouraging you to chase your dreams. I know I have and well things have fallen in place ever since. But chasing dreams can be tricky, so you have to watch out and make sure you think through before heading off into your dream. But for you, Jamie, going off to college in the US of A is a very great idea. Your education, your goals, your ambitions, your decision. So no matter where you go or end up, just make sure you are going with a purpose. But I know you already have that under control.

P.S. Welcome to the blogging world... everything seems so much greater up here.

Hi Jamie,

I am glad that you have entered the world of bloggin. As I have said before everyone has something to say, and I am glad that I have the opportunity to hear(or should I say read) what you have to say.

If I can be so bold as to offer some advice to you in regards to dreams and following them may I just suggest that you check out Proverbs 16:3. In these words of wisdom spoken from the mouth of our Creator we find that the only ways our plans will succeed is if God is in them.

As you look to the future just keep in mind that if whatever you say, wherever you go and whatever you do is committed to God then you cannot fail.

Take care, and know that your comments are always welcome on my blog.

Sean
